Bushmaster ACR vs. FN SCAR 16s (plus reviews)?

Both Bushmaster and FN have been making AR variants for years and years now. I personally wouldn't buy either one; the AR-15 is based on forty years of engineering and combat trials, and the platform is still being used by the US military. I'd get an AR, take the leftover $1500 and buy an ACOG, or maybe a 511 and two other rifles, or maybe 3 other rifles. :)
