Which is the best car to get?

Ok so im getting a car soon and id like to know you alls opinion as to which would be my best bet in terms of reliability, safety, gas, make, and overall reputation. My choices are Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Corolla, Chevrolet HHR, Dodge Avenger, and Nissan Sentra. Tell me ur choices in order and why. All vehicles are 2009s. (preferrably answers from personal experience, and or good knowledge of vehicles.) oh and this will be my first car, 23 yr old, fairly new driver too. Thanks everyone :)
