Best assault rifle ever made?

Im a big gun nut, military and such. And by my own experience and knowledge it would be the AK-47 by far.. reliability, it is used world wide, most produced gun in the world, cheap in third world country's and over half of the worlds army's and private contractors would say the AK-47 over any present assault rifles.
