Tattoo aftercare questions?

So I got my first tattoo yesterday. It is a fairly big tattoo, it takes up about 6 inchs of my shoulderblade. I wore the bandage all night last night and took it off today around 10:30 am. Is that long enough or should I bandage it up? Also, I got aquaphor. Is that ok to use insstead of bactarin or a&d? How long should I use this ointment? And also, I haven't showered yet. What kind of soap to wash it?
