Been dating for eight months?

So my bf and I have been dating for the past eight months and things have been going fairly well, but there are certain things that irritate me and I don't know if I really should be annoyed by them. Okay so he will text me goodnight but then I will go on fb like an hour later and he is online. Its not that I care if he is still up or couldn't sleep or whatever, I just hate when people lie, even if its just something little. I also hate the feeling that I am being paranoid, I am not a jealous person at all I just dislike when people make me feel doubtful of my trust in them. Is this something I should be worrying about? or am I just thinking this over too much?
