Paxil (paroxetine) tapering 5mg?
5mg is nothing. If you want, take 1/2, then fine. You don't need to. It's way too small of a dose, fact is, the pill can only get so small. You will experience nervousness and some anxiety at first, then after a week or two, you'll be back to normal. However, do look into more natural methods like St. John's Wort and Valerian. There are WAY less side effects, they've been used for thousands of years (long track record), and they seem to work better as they target the Norepinephrine, Dopamine, and Serotonin receptors, not just the Serotonin paxil targets. I strongly recommend you consider on focusing and really fixing what's bothering you. Excercise, plenty of fruits and veggies, take vitamins, and drink only spring water. A typical American diet consists of loads of carbs, sodium, fat, and sugars which have been proven to be linked to depression and anxiety. I changed my diet and it's honestly really made a world of a difference. But as for pharmaceutical drugs, they are way overprescribed and most of these doctors get paid commissions for prescribing those medications. It's a business and your their customer. Now a good psychologist(and you may have to look and ask around) will help you way more than any pill ever would because once you've corrected what's lacking in your life (or why you see it that way), then everything else falls into place, you feel good, and you realize you never needed them things in the first place. I really hope it works out for you, good luck!!!
